Pause Portraits

The Pause is a photography project that captures women at the pivotal moment of middle age, a time often defined by personal reflection and transformation. Through intimate portraits, the project explores the quiet strength and resilience that emerge as women navigate this phase of life, confronting shifts in identity, family dynamics, and career.

The title, The Pause, reflects a moment of introspection, a brief respite where time slows and the weight of experience can be seen in the lines of the face, the posture, and the eyes. By focusing on women in this stage, the project seeks to challenge societal expectations and reveal the beauty of self-acceptance and wisdom that comes with age. 

Portraits are $100 for 30 minutes.
